Create a restricted key with read access to Subscriptions. HitMRR computes your MRR the way Stripe's dashboard does - active subscriptions, normalised to monthly, net of discounts - and refreshes it every 30 minutes.
Set the goal and the rules
A target like $10k MRR, a deadline or 'first to goal', a cap on how big a startup can be to enter, and public or private. Registration stays open until you start.
Fire the gun
The field locks and every racer's starting MRR is stamped at the same instant. From then on it's a sprint: live standings, an email when someone passes you, and a winner at the end.

Why nobody can cheat

Questions founders ask
What do I need to start or join a race?
A startup billing through Stripe (live mode) and a restricted read-only Stripe key. Creating the key takes about two minutes; HitMRR rejects full secret keys.
Does HitMRR cost anything?
No. Hosting a race, joining one, the leaderboard and the embeddable badge are all free.
How is a race kept fair?
When the host fires the gun, one transaction locks the field and records every racer's current MRR as their starting line. Nobody can join late already near the goal, and standings measure movement since the gun.
Can I run a private race?
Yes. Private races are reachable only via an invite link the host controls - ideal for a cohort, accelerator batch or a group of friends.
