MRR calculator
Type in each plan you sell - its price, how often it bills, how many customers or seats are on it, and any discount. The calculator normalizes everything to a monthly value the same way billing systems (and HitMRR) do: yearly plans divided by twelve, weekly plans times 52/12, discounts subtracted. Trials and one-off charges don't belong here.
Frequently asked questions
How is MRR calculated?
MRR is the sum of the monthly value of every active paid subscription. Non-monthly plans are normalized first (a $1,200/year plan is $100/month), then discounts are subtracted. Free trials, past-due subscriptions and one-time charges are excluded.
How do I convert a yearly plan to MRR?
Divide the yearly price by 12. A $790/year plan contributes $65.83 of MRR.
Should I include free trials in MRR?
No. A trial has not paid yet. Count it the day it converts to a paid subscription.
Does this calculator store my numbers?
No. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
